Water polo

Water polo is among the Olympic sports with which China has virtually no history. When it became an Olympic sport or china got the Olympics, the government looked for a way to quickly put a national team together. Their answer came in the form of Tsinghua University.

Chinese name and literal translation: 水球 shui qiu (water ball)
